MONDIAL Imola 125 Overview
FB Mondial, the renowned brand with ten World Speed Championship titles, has made its foray into the scooter market with its sporty Imola 125 model, named after the famous Italian racing circuit. This scooter boasts a high level of equipment, including full LED lighting and a proximity smart key for easy activation. The Imola 125 boasts a sharp and aggressive design, with a headlight assembly comprising four poli ellipsoidal optics LED modules that resemble competition motorcycles. The blue, red, or silver colours of the Italian flag adorn its sides, while air inlet nozzles on the rear sides and front shield extensions add to its sporty appeal. The Imola 125's rear lighting features a circular LED light guide pilot that creates a three-dimensional effect, reminiscent of the exhaust outlet under the rear tail. The scooter's engine is cooled by forced air and features a four-valve cylinder head with double overhead camshaft DOHC, typical of sports models. It delivers a maximum power of 9 hp at 7,500 rpm and a torque of 9.1Nm at 6,000 rpm. The Imola 125 has a single oleopneumatic rear shock absorber with an independent gas bottle and uses a 29mm fork for the front axle. It rolls on 13-inch wheels with 120 / 60-13 and 130 / 60-13 low-profile sports tires and has 220mm disc brakes with CBS combined operation and a 1-piston rear and 3-piston front calliper. The FB Mondial Imola 125 features a set of three sports-style watches, with the speedometer occupying the central position and including independent indicator lights, high beam, and injection. The LCD screens on either side display the fuel level with the trip meter and a graphic voltmeter with the total odometer. One of the stand out features of the Imola 125 is its proximity smart key, which enables easy activation without removing the key from your pocket. The key also serves as a lock to close the steering turn, a search tool for locating the vehicle in a busy parking lot, and an inductive key to activate the ignition control. Finally, the Imola 125 incorporates typical scooter features such as a hook on the leg rest to hang bags, centre and side stands, folding passenger footrests, and a low main cargo compartment that can accommodate a full-face helmet. The Imola 125 takes its name from the Imola circuit, where FB Mondial secured its first 125cc World Speed Championship title with "Nello" Pagani in 1949, followed by Tarquinio Provini in the 250cc category in 1955. The Imola circuit, also known as Autodromo Dino Ferrari in memory of the founder's son, is famous for its rich legacy in both the automotive and motorcycle industries. The circuit hosted the "200 miles of Imola" in the 1970s, and the last Grand Prix of the World Speed Championship was held there in 1997.
